According to Bloomberg and India Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s official Twitter account was hacked. During the attack a tweet promoting cryptocurrency had already been shared from the handle and was later deleted. The PMO further said that any tweets sent out by the official handle during that time should be ignored by the public.
The hack was quickly resolved and then secured after the matter was brought to Twitters attention.
