Who or what hacked the British Army’s social media?

According to Breitbart, EuroWeekly, and several other news periodicals.  The British Army Twitter and Youtube accounts were overrun by  cryptocurrency messages including images of billionaire Elon Mus

During the hack, the British Army’s Twitter account had its name changed to “Bapesclan”  (aka online as Bapes™ – The #1 Metavestor Club in the world) .

The British Army posted the following on their twitter feed which resumed normal operations on Monday -“Apologies for the temporary interruption to our feed,´´ the army said in a tweet posted after the Twitter account was restored on Sunday. “We will conduct a full investigation and learn from this incident. Thanks for following us, and normal service will now resume.”

A full investigation is underway and preventive measures are taking place to ensure this does not happen again.
